The waters surrounding Port Moresby have over 20 spectacular scuba dive sites including sizeable wrecks, macro rich slopes and pelagics such as mantas and hammerheads.  Port Moresby is a world class scuba diving destination. 

Just a 30 minute secure bus ride and boat transfer to the Loloata Private Island Resort we have chosen a destination requiring no internal Papua New Guinea travel making arriving at our dive destination as straight forward as possible.  Loloata Resort is spectacular - a modernist resort with stunning swimming pool and bar/restaurant, rooms with incredible views of the ocean.

There are larger sea fans than anywhere else in the world, the renowned 65 metre long Pacific Gas wreck scuttled in 30-45 metres, the fish populations are truly incredible.  Even the Loloata Island Jetty - in depths of 0-10 m there are frog fish, robust ghost pipefish, cuttle fish, ringed pipefish, razor fish, mantis shrimp and banded sea krait.  There are various wrecks, pelagics such as manta rays and hammerheads.  You will be amazed.

THE ROOMS

Stay in a well appointed over water or ocean view bungalow offering luxurious accommodation, ensuite bathroom, desk and private sun beds and balcony. These bungalows have a serene setting, spacious interior and are private and secluded. 

All bungalows offer a powerful rain shower, complimentary toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities, cable TV, hairdryer, mini fridge, safety box and tropical fruit basket on arrival. Twin beds, queen beds or two bedroom overwater bungalows available on request.
