Situated on the white sands of Fiji's beautiful coral coast, a 2.5 hour drive from Nadi International Airport, the Beachouse comprises 24 private bures with ensuites as well as a dormitory for budget travellers. Pacific Harbour's bull shark feed is a bucketlister for any diver. Disembarking from Pacific Harbour 4 times a week Coral Coast Divers operate our preferred feed at the Colosseum dive site. Wati, their hand feeder, will make your jaw drop as a bull snatches the offered up fish head.
The site has the clearest water in the area and you will get up close and personal with up to 7 more species of shark, 30 or so bulls are likely seen on any dive, tawny nurses. lemons. silvertips, 3 types of reefie and if you get lucky a tiger might show up.
The shark feed works on a conservation basis in conjunction with the local Fijian village chiefs. In exchange for a marine park fee of FJD$25 per diver the village protects the reef from fishing and does not grant licences. The fish heads fed to the sharks are brought in from tuna canneries in Suva. Coral Coast Divers have an excellent safety record and are very knowledgeable about their sharks and the area's conservation.
Coral Coast Divers provide small group 2 tank dives to the best of the reefs in Beqa Lagoon when on their non-shark dive days. Beqa Lagoon offers stunning soft coral covered pinnacles, wrecks and the full range of tropical reef fish.
